Why Can’t I Remember?
====================
I saw this in a newspaper article some time back:
Busy? Then Forget It … Hectic lifestyle affects our memory.
Apparently we fail to remember 4 facts, items or events each day!
… including leaving home without our phone or wallet (oh my that feels like you’ve lost a limb doesn’t it)
… or forgetting to defrost the meat for dinner.
Brits seem to struggle to recall someone’s name when introducing them …
and important messages, meetings and emails are missed in our every day busy lives.
A Poll of 2,000 adults showed the two most commonly forgotten things were …
… not remembering why they went into a room, and misplacing keys.
And oh boy I know what both of those feel like … I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve walked in and out of rooms wondering why on earth I’d gone in there LOL

So Why Can’t I Remember?
=====================
Apparently, men are twice as likely to forget a partner’s birthday or an anniversary and, remarkably, one in 20 men has missed a funeral by being absent-minded (not good!).
… But women were found to show the most frustration when losing things (Oh Yes!)
… one in four women admitted to lying if they forgot something big and think they will get into trouble for it (naughty naughty LOL)
Perhaps this explains why women are twice as likely to be the one in the relationship with the better memory!?!
A spokesman for Post-it sticky note pads, which commissioned the report from which this information was taken, said:
“With longer working hours, financial fears and busier lifestyles, even those with the best memory can stumble when it comes to remembering simple things in a hectic day.”

Banish The Issue Of … Why Can’t I Remember?
====================================
I guess that’s why you should not end your day until the next day is down on paper …
… writing a To-Do-List at the end of the day, before you go to bed, is strongly recommended to not only ensure you don’t forget all the things that you need to do the next day
… but also because it clears your mind to allow a good nights sleep rather than having your mind ticking over and over quietly saying I must not forget to do that and I must not forget to this!
Here’s a great tip to ensure a good solid night’s sleep …
always have a pen and pad next to your bed so if you wake up and think about something that must not be forgotten write it down,
that way it is out of your mind and you can go back to sleep with the peace of mind that you will not now forget 🙂
