action star Jean-Claude Van Damme took his 53 year-old body to the next level to showcase Volvo’s Dynamic Steering System.

The stunt was in fact real …

It is reported that …

the actor was protected by plenty of safety lines that were not visible in the final video, so if the actor had gotten a leg cramp while filming there was no danger

the actor was also aided by small platforms on the trucks’ side mirrors that helped prop up his feet

… and if you look closely you can see his feet move and had they been only on the wing mirrors would surely have slipped off.

 

But none of that deminishes how amazing and breathtaking doing a perfect split between two massive moving vehicles is.

 

As JCVD said in the advert:
